Service Description

While the terms equity and equality may sound similar, the implementation of one versus the other can lead to dramatically different outcomes for marginalized people. Equality means each individual or group of people is given the same resources or opportunities. Equity recognizes that each person has different circumstances and allocates the exact resources and opportunities needed to reach an equal outcome. Providing service equity is another strong value of mine. This self-funded bursary is designed to remove roadblocks to those unable to access therapy and counselling. If you are experiencing roadblocks to accessing therapy and counselling, please reach out to me to discuss your options. Healing is priceless!

Cancellation Policy

Life happens and sometimes unexpected changes need to be made. There’s always grace when emergencies or extenuating circumstances occur, however, valuing each other's time and energy is an important aspect of every relationship. I have chosen not to apply cancellation or rebooking fees at this time. Let's actively choose trust and transparency and extend healthy boundaries which include grace. If an unexpected change needs to be made, rest assured that I will do all I can to help make adjustments that will work for us both. No judgment. Ever!
